About Me

My photo
Bent, Not Broken: Living with Depression
I have lived with major depression since I was a teenager (over 35 years. It has been a journey filled with darkness, but there have been lights along the way. Depression is a thief. It has stolen a great deal from me, but I am still standing. I believe sharing my story is healing not only for myself, but for others as well. When we share our stories we let each other know we are not alone. Over the years I have tried many different avenues to heal. My hope is that my experience will help others find what works for them. Living with depression is living in the darkness, but we can still live. Join me in this blog journey as I share my lived experience with depression. I invite you to join in conversations. Together, we can heal.
